Sunshine Readers

BGE students are reading the Sunshine Books this year in hopes of earning a Gift Bag at this year's Battle of the Books.  Each student who reads all 15 of the Sunshine books and passes the AR Quizzes will receive a gift bag at the Battle in May.

Students (Grades 3-5) who are reading Sunshine Books this year are collecting BRAG TAGS.  Students are also getting their Sunshine Reader pencils after reading and quizzing on three of the books.

Our Sunshine Readers of the Year from grades 3-5 and grade 2 (see photo album) have read all fifteen of the books and passed the quizzes.

MakerSpace in the House

The Media Center MakerSpace is coming along nicely. Students at Bowling Green Elementary have already began using some of the robotics, scientific games, and computers in the MakerSpace room. Students are really excited about the animation studio and we hope to add Turing Tumbles and some Makey Makey activities as well as start an after school club on Mondays.
